Weather monitoring on campus is an essential activity that may assist the institution and its researchers and community in planning and trucking the climate change and managing their activities in accordance with the weather conditions. The University of Kerbala features a number of weather stations that offer real-time data on the campus’s temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, and rainfall. The weather stations are positioned on different location cross the three campuses and are linked to a computer system that shows and records the data. The weather station also has a webpage where anybody can access the data online. Improving the energy efficiency and comfort of campus buildings by changing heating, cooling, and ventilation systems based on weather data.
